Vintage 1980s UP.CRAFTED Leather Clutch

Made in the USA from grey leather with a soft, naturally worn finish developed over time. The clutch features a structured rectangular silhouette with a foldover front flap, rounded corners, and a centered brass turnlock closure. 

Inside, the clutch opens to reveal a divided interior with a center compartment separating two sections, offering a simple organizational system within the slim silhouette. The interior is finished with the original Davey’s label.

Davey’s UP.CRAFTED reworks original pieces from our archive through new details, materials, and techniques. Each piece begins with a vintage Davey’s bag and is individually reworked in New York, making every finished bag one-of-one.

For this bag, silver-tone studs and metal grommets were added along both sides of the original foldover flap. Arranged in a repeating pattern, the new hardware follows the vertical lines of the bag while leaving the original turnlock and center of the flap exposed.
