Vintage 1960s UP.CRAFTED Leather Clutch

Made in the USA from burgundy leather with a naturally worn finish developed over time. The clutch features a rectangular silhouette with rounded corners and a wide foldover flap. A curved leather panel at the center of the flap creates a distinctive detail within the original design, finished with tonal stitching and leather piping along the edges.

Inside, the clutch features a suede-lined interior with a YKK zippered compartment, adding a separate section for smaller belongings while maintaining the bag’s streamlined shape. The interior is finished with the original Davey’s label.

Davey’s UP.CRAFTED reworks original pieces from our archive through new details, materials, and techniques. Each piece begins with a vintage Davey’s bag and is individually reworked in New York, making every finished bag one-of-one.

For this bag, silver-tone studs were added around the original foldover flap. The placement follows the perimeter before curving around the existing center leather panel, using the bag’s original construction as the framework for the new treatment.
